Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. Her career began in the soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she performed in numerous supporting roles on television shows that aired in primetime. Andrea Navedo, an American singer and actress who was born on the streets of The Bronx New York United States on the 10th of October 1977. Navedo started her acting career with daytime soaps. Between 1995 and 1997 she appeared as Linda Soto on the ABC soap production One Life to Live. The show also featured her in The CBS soap Guiding Light, as Theresa Sandoval between 1999 and 2000. She made her film debut with a small role in Girl 6 (1996) then appeared in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was on Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the year after. Between 2001 and 2004 Navedo appeared in a variety of roles on the NBC crime show Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Later, he starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also been seen in films such as El Cantante, Remember Me among others. Navedo appeared in recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until the year 2013. She starred in the comedic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious parody that was released in 2015 was a parody of the Fast and the Furious movie series. Navedo's professional journey started with soap operas that aired on daytime television. She was in Linda Soto, the ABC soap drama One Life to Live from 1995 until 1997. She joined in 1999 the crew of the CBS soap drama Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her debut film role was a part in Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on shows like New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo played the role of Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
